This page is built for you to help you find awesome tools and support to rock your middle school and high school years, and get ready for whatever comes next.   • Khan Academy

  • What it is: Free, engaging video lessons and practice exercises for almost every subject – from math (algebra, geometry, calculus) and science (biology, chemistry, physics) to history, economics, and even SAT/ACT test prep. Think of it as a free, personalized tutor available 24/7.
  • Why it's cool: Break down tough topics, catch up on missed lessons, or get ahead. It's totally self-paced!

It's okay not to be okay. If you're feeling stressed, sad, anxious, or just need someone to talk to, these resources are here for you, confidentially. These youth resources can provide much needed help for kids.

  • 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline
  • URL: https://988lifeline.org/
  • What it is: A free, confidential 24/7 hotline for anyone in emotional distress or suicidal crisis. You can call or text 988 anytime, anywhere in the U.S.
  • Why it's cool: Immediate support when you need it most. You'll connect with trained counselors who understand.
  • Crisis Text Line
  • URL: https://www.crisistextline.org/
  • What it is: Free, 24/7 support for people in crisis. Text "HOME" to 741741 from anywhere in the US, anytime, about any type of crisis.
  • Why it's cool: Get help and support via text, which can feel more comfortable for many teens. It's completely confidential.
  • The Trevor Project

  • What it is: The leading suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for LGBTQ young people (ages 13-24). They offer a toll-free hotline, chat, and text services.
  • Why it's cool: A safe and affirming space specifically for LGBTQ youth to get support without judgment.
  • NAMI Florida (National Alliance on Mental Illness)
  • URL: https://namiflorida.org/ (and encourage visiting local NAMI chapters)
  • What it is: NAMI provides advocacy, education, support, and public awareness for individuals and families affected by mental illness. Their Florida chapter offers local resources and support groups.
  • Why it's cool: Connect with real people and find local support networks and educational resources for mental health challenges.

  • The College Board (SAT, AP, College Search)
